Hey friends!
Welcome to another edition of The Report. Firstly, thank you to so many of you for subscribing to The Report! Over the weekend, The Report has crossed 150 subscribers! If you hadn't heard, The Report is now a Keep Productive publication, and I'm so so excited to work with Francesco to take The Report to another level. If you're interested in The Report, you will love The Routine as well.
Now, onto this week’s newsletter! This week, I’m talking about a journal tool I’ve been using for a while now. While I started off on Day One, Stoic has won my heart after just a few days of consistent use. Stoic is a simple, minimalistic journaling app that has helped me with my journaling habit. With it's effortless gestures, insightful prompts and killer UI, I think I'll be permanently switching over to Stoic from Day One.
As soon as you open the app, you are greeted by a simple mood check-in, followed by your morning or night routine. Based on your mood, you can select more specific feelings, reflect on things that are affecting those feelings and jot down any thoughts and musings you have to start your day on the right foot. There’s something abut Stoic that makes journaling such an absolute joy.
Added to your daily routine are the endless amount of prompts that revolve around a weekly theme. Previous themes have included “On Signal and Noise”, “On Time”, “On Boredom” and so much more. Stoic provokes insights in a way that no other journaling app has done and it is this unique ability that has made this app such an essential in my digital toolkit.
Stoic also offers many other journaling-related functions, such as meditation, reading quotes, observing your mood trends, goal-setting and more. If you’re looking to start journaling, Stoic is the app for you.
